An excellent dark bronze colored crown. High quality enamel with minimal river wear. The bourlette is black and 90% complete.

The serrations are sharp with some river wear, but very clean with no nicks. Very good serrations for a big Meg!

The root is complete with very small hydration cracks and extra wide (4-1/2 W). The root is excellent for a BIG Meg. AN EXCELLENT BIG collector's MEG tooth from So.

BACKGROUND: Occasionally, fossil collectors of megalodon teeth have an opportunity to obtain a stunning high quality BIG (6-5/16) tooth. This is truly one such example, with a well-known and highly respected provenance too, with absolutely. NO Repair - NO Restoration - 100% Natural. I have decided to sell this as my collecting interest has narrowed. These are organic materials that have been mineralized (replaced and infilled by other mineral material).

Although the material itself is no longer organic, it does preserve and organic structure. As such, I have decided to sell this megalodon tooth to focus in this new area on interest.
