The lighter colored blade really looks nice with the root and bourlette color. There is some hardened matrix still attached to the display side of the meg. The tip on this shark is slightly rounded which most likely occurred when the shark was still alive and biting through whale and dugong bones millions of years ago. You can also see some small feeding bucks along the edges of the blade. It is a massive shark tooth from a huge megalodon.
This Meg is nice and wide which gives it a nice weight and profile. This shark would have been larger than a fire truck. This shark tooth was found diving off the coast of North Carolina. It would be a great addition to any collection! The condition is millions of years old.
