5.24 High Quality Megalodon Fossil Shark Tooth. It was measured carefully with a set of digital calipers for accuracy. This is a massive tooth that has a beautiful dark colored root, nice dark bourlette, and great looking gun metal finish enamel. This is a really great looking tooth.
The light colored blade really looks nice with the root and bourlette color. The tip on this shark has a chip which most likely occurred when the shark was still alive and biting through whale and dugong bones millions of years ago. You can also see nice serrations and some bite marks along the edges of the blade. It is a massive shark tooth from a huge megalodon. This Meg is just under 4 wide which gives it a nice weight and profile. This shark would have been larger than a fire truck. This shark tooth was found diving off the coast of North Carolina. It would be a great addition to any collection!
