Kool 4.96" x 3.45" Lower, Front Megalodon Shark tooth with a super dagger shape with really pretty colors & some sharp serrations, smooth enamel, it's very solid & heavy too. This tooth has a little bit of restoration near the tip & upper corner of blade near the root which even the best eye can hardly see.

The work was done well & is smooth to the touch all over. I believe a lil work may've been done on the bourlette, along with a lil root smoothing which looks great too. Because of these small things I've cut the price of this beauty in a third. Also, I believe the whitish marks in the restored areas are brighter & more prevalent in the pictures under heavy magnification than they are when the tooth is just being viewed in your hand. There's a bit of pathology to one side of the blade & even looks like a cusp to the one side of the blade where it meets the bourlette & root. It's just an all around really kool tooth & displays well too. Most collectors, as well as myself have some repaired or restored teeth in their collections. A fossil that's millions & millions of years old doesn't have to be perfect to be enjoyed & It was measured with digital calipers. You may or may not know this, but many of the teeth from Indonesia you see advertised for sale are newly found & are still'wet' from being dug up from the ground in their humid climate & will generally lose 50-70% of their bright colors. All the teeth I offer have been in my collection & are completely dry. What you see is what you get. The price of Indo Megs is through the roof even for me directly from the farmers there, get them at an affordable price while you can. Please check out all the other fossil treasures I have listed as well. Thank you for looking & God bless.
