Tooth Pendant - Megalodon Tooth, Capped With 24 Karat Gold Over 925 Sterling Silver and Opal Accent. 1.5 to 28 million years ago. Megalodon tooth has great, well-preserved serrations and complete enamel coverage of an attractive light greyish orange color. The custom designed 24 Karat gold plated cap with bale, is accented with an outstanding Australian opal with predominately blue and green pin-fire play of color. The teeth of the giant ancient shark, Megalodon, are among the most prized specimens for the prehistoric fossil collector.

They are similar to those of today's Great White, but considerably larger. They were the largest carnivorous fish ever to have swum the oceans of our planet reaching lengths of up to 70 feet.

They lived between 1.5 to 28 million years ago.
