A fine quality Fossil shark's tooth of a medium grey enamel coating with very good serrations along both edges. The tooth itself measures 1.50 inches in length and is capped with a custom 24 Karat Gold over 925 Sterling Silver design. Accented with a rectangular-cut amethyst gem. The teeth of the giant ancient shark, Megalodon, are among the most prized specimens for the prehistoric fossil collector. They are similar to those of today's Great White, but considerably larger. They were the largest carnivorous fish ever to have swum the oceans of our planet reaching lengths of up to 70 feet. They lived between 1.5 to 28 million years ago.
