This very handsome fossil shark's tooth displays a rich, dark grey enamel coating and measures. 1.65 inches from tip to top.

The custom designed 24 Karat gold plated cap with bale, and is accented with an oval, faceted Amethyst gem of a medium lilac color. The teeth of the giant ancient shark, Megalodon, are among the most prized specimens for the prehistoric fossil collector. They are similar to those of today's Great White, but considerably larger. They were the largest carnivorous fish ever to have swum the oceans of our planet reaching lengths of up to 70 feet. They lived between 1.5 to 28 million years ago.
