Please see all my Sharks Tooth Pendants. This fine quality fossil shark's tooth measures 1.60 inches in length (40.64 mm). And is capped with a custom design of pure 925 Sterling Silver and Accented with a faceted, oval-shaped Lilac Amethyst gem. An excellent fossil tooth with good coverage of medium blueish/grey fossilized enamel coating and mild serrations along both edges. The teeth of the giant ancient shark, Megalodon, are among the most prized specimens for the prehistoric fossil collector.

They are similar to those of today's Great White, but considerably larger. They were the largest carnivorous fish ever to have swum the oceans of our planet reaching lengths of up to 70 feet. They lived between 1.5 to 28 million years ago.
