This is a beautiful Large fossil shark tooth from the now extinct. Or as some refer to as Carcharodon Megalodon This massive shark roamed the oceans millions of years ago Devouring marine animals as large as whales. It was the greatest and most vicious predator the world has ever known!!

The teeth of this monster are the largest of any other shark teeth ever found. It's believed that this shark grew to an enormous length of roughly 40-60 feet. That's 2 or 3 times the size of the modern Great White!! This tooth comes from coastal South Carolina.

Miocene period (5-22 million years ago). Measures 4-1/2" long on the diagonal, 3-1/4" across the base.
