Found in West Java, Indonesia. Negatives: The upper corner of the blade on the distal side is damaged; the root and bourlette are also damaged. Positives : The crown tip is in great condition and the serrations are extremely sharp.

Often simply called Megalodon, was an extinct species of gigantic mackerel shark that roamed the Earth's oceans from approximately 23 to 3.6 million years ago. Known primarily from its colossal teeth, which could reach lengths of over 7 inches, this apex predator is considered the largest shark, and indeed one of the largest fish, to have ever lived, with estimates suggesting adult lengths between 34 and 67 feet.

While often depicted as a larger version of the modern great white shark, recent studies suggest. Likely had a more slender body.
