A Kool - LAND FIND - 3.83" x 3.19" Megalodon Posterior Shark Tooth Fossil from the Hawthorn Formation in Florida(same one Bone Valley fossils are found in). It's a very solid, heavy tooth that offers awesome colors under its shiny enamel with an about as perfect as they get beautiful bourlette & a killer, multi - colored root with some sharp serrations & a great, super wide size. This posterior tooth came from a humongous Meg! It has a ton of character & if it could only speak of its life & all the things it experienced!
A predator so ferocious it breaks its own teeth while chomping down on its prey! It's far from perfect & wont be for everyone, but I know there's plenty of folks out there that'll love it as much as I do & will appreciate it for the awesome fossil it truly is! If you're familiar with this location/formation you already know how killer this tooth is.
But, if it's a new location to you this is a very special & uncommon tooth & you simply won't see many being offered. No repair or restoration & measured with digital calipers. Please check out all the other fossil treasures I have listed as well. Thank you for looking & God Bless.
