Megalodon tooth has great, well-preserved serrations and complete enamel coverage of an attractive dark greyish color. The custom designed pure 925 Sterling Silver cap and, accented with a fine, elongated, Australian Opal gem with orange-red flashes of color. An Excellent fossil tooth with good coverage of fossilized enamel and preserved serrations along both edges. The teeth of the giant ancient shark, Megalodon, are among the most prized specimens for the prehistoric fossil collector. They are similar to those of today's Great White, but considerably larger.

They were the largest carnivorous fish ever to have swum the oceans of our planet reaching lengths of up to 70 feet. They lived between 1.5 to 28 million years ago.
