This listing is for a beautiful mako fossil shark tooth recovered from the Bone Valley formation in Florida. It measures 2.73 inches (longest slant) and is all natural with no repair or restoration. It has beautiful glass-like enamel. As you may know, it is very rare to find makos in the Bone Valley formation as the area was thought to be a breeding ground for megalodon pups. As a result, you will see far, far more Bone Valley meg teeth than makos. Therefore, a mako this large and attractive is beyond rare - it will likely be several years before you see another that competes with it up for sale.
