This exceptional fossil is a large over 2.75 inch CHUBUTENSIS Shark Tooth, a very rare find that will make an impressive addition to any collection. The tooth belongs to the father species of the megalodon and is an extinct species of prehistoric megatoothed sharks in the genus Otodus.

I found this gorgeous, pristine specimen in Charleston, SC. This tooth is 100% natural and NO alterations or repairs are ever done to my fossils.

The serrations are perfectly preserved and the color is amazing. This prehistoric shark tooth dates back approximately 5-33 million years ago and is an extremely rare, museum quality and condition, fossil tooth. The enamel is in near pristine condition with a few minor feeding marks. All fossils I find are done so ethically, responsibly, sustainably, and legally.
