This is an authentic fossilized Megalodon shark tooth that is estimated to be between 5 and 24 million years old (Miocene era). The type of rock or sediment that the tooth fossilized in determines its color.

This one has a light brown root and light tan naturally shiny enamel. It measures 3.24 inches on the longest side and 3.05 inches on the other (tip to root). The width at the widest part of the root is 2.48 inches, and it weighs 2.3 ounces. This fossil tooth has been cleaned naturally with vinegar and has not been altered in any way.

Be the 2nd person to touch this magnificent specimen! All the teeth I sell are personally recovered by my husband or me from the bottom of the ocean while scuba diving approximately 40 miles off the coast of southeastern North Carolina, in 110 feet of water. Comes with a clear acrylic display stand.
