This is a BEYOND ULTRA Rare OVER 5 & 3/8 inch WHITE PERUVIAN Megalodon Shark Tooth. If you look at the second picture you will see a skeptical looking crack in the root.

I have been over this tooth with a fine tooth comb under a microscope and there is no way for that to be a repair. If you follow the crack around to the front. It actually ends and has light fossil material over the crack, which would not be there if it was a repair. I have even included close up pics of the root so you can see for yourself. I also did not find any fill in the root.

I will try to get some close up pics of the tip because the tip is actually intact. It is just some enamel flaking at the very tip.

I was so focused on taking close up pics of the root that I forgot about the tip. At you can not find. S as simple as that.
