Some root pitting on that one side of the blade but it is fairly superficial (see pics above). Either way, this is a super high quality South East Asian 100% Natural Megalodon Shark Tooth. Everything about this tooth screams high quality.

From the fully intact bourlette, to the light colored enamel, to the intact sharp serrations. A tooth of this color and quality from the most common location on earth, South Carolina, would run you close to a couple grand. Very very few teeth like this in the market place anymore.

But if you are a salty collector than I don. T have to tell you that. Even really high quality teeth from South Carolina and Georgia are getting outragous.

And the prices are not going to come down. It is almost all restored teeth and beat up North Carolina ocean teeth, with a few commerical grade South Carolina Megs thrown in. When a collector does decide to sell a Chilean or a really nice Bone Valley there are no deals happening. Everybody wants Top Top dollar.

The days of all these killers hitting the market are long long gone. Those days are simply over for good. And the sad thing is. These South East Asian teeth will be here today and gone tomorrow as well. Chalk that up as sales pitch B/S if you want but trust me. These will soon be a thing of the past as well. Just like every other rare location before it.

This place is not special. It to will be gone just like Chile, Peru, Bone Valley, Lee Creek, Meherrin River, Bakersfield, and more. But chances are all those other places will have produced thousands more teeth than this place ever will.
