There have been a handful of Megs coming out of this location in the last few months but almost all of them are beat up junkers. The fill you see in the root is natural and not man-made. These teeth are found during the mining process and this grey color is simply the surrounding sediment in which they are found.You can also see some of this same sediment on the reverse side. No repairs and No restorations. This is also a fairly wide Meg at 4.70 inches in width and dead on 15 ounces. True Investment worthy Megalodon shark tooth on rarity of location alone. Nothing man made has been added to this tooth.
