Great White Shark's Teeth. MEGALODON SHARK TOOTH - OVER 3 & 3/4 in. SERRATED GRADE - REAL FOSSIL. This is a SERRATED GRADE Megalodon Shark Tooth discovered in the ACE River Basin of South Carolina. Teeth sourced from riverbeds, like this one, are rarer compared to those found off the coast of North Carolina in the ocean.

As a result, they command a higher value, and this tooth is no exception. Notably, river teeth often possess higher quality roots, and this specimen demonstrates precisely that. This discrepancy can be attributed to the quality of the tooth. Over millions of years, natural factors such as erosion caused by fast-moving water or the passage of time tend to wear down the blade and root of Megalodon teeth.
