This specimen has a fantastic display appearance, featuring a large, broad main blade, fine serrations, well-defined side cusplets, attractive gray-blue enamel, and a rich brown bourlette. The contrasting coloration and classic Angustidens shape make this an especially eye-catching tooth. Otodus angustidens was a massive prehistoric megatoothed shark and an important member of the evolutionary lineage that ultimately produced the Megalodon. Chandler Bridge specimens are highly sought after by collectors and represent some of the most recognizable Oligocene shark fossils from the southeastern United States.
