Lateral teeth are harder to find than the normal posterior/anterior teeth. I do not see curved teeth like these very often and would suite a fossil collector well. The enamel and root are nicely preserved and the serrations are almost worn completely. This tooth is 100% natural.
91.15grams 3.215 oz. (genus is still being disputed). Early Miocene to Late Pliocene. 23 to 2.6 Million Years Ago.
This Megalodon tooth is 15.9 to 2.6 million years old. Megalodon sharks swam the prehistoric seas during the middle Miocene to the late Pliocene epochs of the Cenozioc Era.
This shark was the largest predatory marine creature to ever swim the Earth's oceans, vastly outweighing both the modern Great White Shark and ancient marine reptiles such as Plesiosaurs and Pliosaurs. Megalodon could grow to more than 60 feet and weighed 100 hundred tons. If you need more time, please let us know within 7 days and we will be happy to come to an arrangement.
