It has blue & tan colored enamel with light mineralization (dark spotting & orange highlights) which is common for most STH megs. The bourlette is primarily composed of the dentin layer, and the root is complete with large grooves - a Miocene trait.
The serrations are excellent for such a large meg including an intact tip! High quality Sharktooth Hill megs. Are very difficult to locate - one of the rarest megs. This piece came out of a 25 year private collection. An excellent opportunity & a large tooth measuring 5.32" L x 4.16" W.
