Up for your consideration is this stunning Megalodon tooth. Jet black enamel and light brown root. Professional restoration done to the tip and left enamel corner/ear. Found in a Georgia river.

Please look photos over for condition. TOOTH MEASURES DIAGONALLY: 4 13/16 longest side. This tooth was found while scuba diving in a blackwater river.

"Blackwater" refers to the tannin stained coastal rivers of the Lowcountry in which visibility is zero to mere inches. It's the equivalent of diving in Yoo-hoo. At around 30 feet down, while fighting strong currents, we find these 3-5 million year old relics buried in the river bottom. Please feel free to contact me with any questions!
