"Serration Brushed" & Sweet 3.7" x 2.73" Megalodon Shark Tooth Fossil from famous Venice Beach, Florida. A great sized tooth compared to all the smaller sizes you see from this location. It's a wider shaped, sweet triangle principle slicer with its great size & sweet coloration & mottling on the blade with some sharp serrations that are darker than the tooth, a trait that's very uncommon.
Also, the display side has been lightly brushed by the serrations(the darker marks going down from next to the coral & most of the center of the blade to the tip)from another of its own teeth as it fell free from its mouth. But not deep enough to damage the tooth & is such an all around really kool tooth.
Also, I left a lil coral on it for all those of you who really enjoy that neat, natural out of the ocean look. But, if it's not your style you could easily remove it. The lighter snowflake splotches & other patterns on the blade are simply a mottling of coloration that occurred during the fossilization process of whatever was laying on it for all of those millions & millions of years & is in the enamel. A really kool all around tooth with no repair or restoration & measured with digital calipers. Please check out all the other fossil treasures I have listed as well. Thank you for looking & God Bless.
