TOP Natural 3.4 Megalodon Shark Tooth Serrated Fossil Natural Indonesia
8.4 X 6.2 X 2.2 cm. This very rare Megalodon shark tooth was found in Sukabumi Regency, West Java, Indonesia, scaffered in shallow marine rock formation of late Miocene to Pliocene Period app. 15 to 2,6 Million years ago. Together with tooth fossils, the remains of whales and dolphins which is thought to be food of the megalodon were also found. Paleontologist and geologist from the Bandung Geological Museum that the rock formation in which the megalodon teeth fossils were found are closely related to paleotsunami activities.
