TOP QUALITY & RARE SIZE 5.32 Sharktooth Hill Megalodon Shark Tooth Teeth

  
Up for your consideration is an ultra rare Carcharocles megalodon fossil shark tooth from Sharktooth Hill near Bakersfield, California. Middle Miocene tooth, is an upper. Jaw position and is approximately 15 million years old.

It has blue & tan colored enamel with light mineralization (dark spotting & orange highlights) which is common for most STH megs. The bourlette is primarily composed of the dentin layer, and the root is complete with large grooves - a Miocene trait.

The serrations are excellent for such a large meg including an intact tip! Sharktooth Hill meg teeth, especially of high quality. Are becoming increasingly more difficult to locate - one of the rarest megs.

This piece came out of a 25 year private collection. You're looking to add a very nice, high quality STH meg to your collection, this one is worthy of your consideration!
